Voting Rules and Member Participation for the 2009/10 AGM
In accordance with the present constitution, the rules and regulation are to be set by the Chair of the meeting of the membership at the Annual General Meeting.

Voting Rules
As outlined in the constitution by section 7.5.1, “each member in good standing of legal age (18) shall at all Annual meetings be entitled to one vote.“ For the 2009/10 AGM, each individual present at the AGM, who is a member in good standing, will be allowed ONE VOTE ONLY. Proxy votes are not allowed and players under the age of 18 cannot vote. Therefore, according to the present document the definition of ‘member’ allows only ONE vote per person at the AGM.

Active members shall consist of those individuals who have indicated an interest in the aims and objectives of The Association and who have been accepted as members of The Association and who have paid the annual membership dues at least ninety (90) days to the date of the Annual General Meeting.

Therefore, any person associated with SCMHA and deemed ‘accepted’ by SCMHA is entitled to attend the 2009/10 AGM. A membership list will be present at the entrance and ALL attendees of the AGM are required to:

1.    Sign in upon arrival
2.    Present the name of the player and/or team they are associated with to the Secretary/ Registrar
3.    Have identification available upon request
