In St. Catharines, the AAA zone hockey is comprised of the most skilled players from St. Catharines, Merritton, Beamsville and Jordan. Teams compete in th SCTA League (South Central Triple A) against Niagara Falls, Welland, Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, Halton Hills, Guelph, Grey Bruce and Brampton. Play-off format is qualifying tournaments (round robin style). Players receive 40+ hours of practice time and a 32 game schedule, plus tournaments.
AA Level – AA level hockey is the second highest caliber of minor hockey in Ontario and is a measurable step up from DD, select or house league hockey.
