MINOR ATOM AE, 2014-2015, Rep (HOME OF THE STONEY CREEK WARRIORS AA HOCKEY)

The Minor Atom AE team finished the season today at the Doug Thomson Memorial Tournament this weekend!  Another hard fought match with the Milton Winterhawks in the Championship Final came down the very end with Milton winning in the final minutes to claim their local championship trophy.  In the loss however, we scored our 300th goal of the season!! Keep your heads up boys and the coaches wish you all well in your upcoming various tryouts!!  The best part is all the players want to play hockey again this coming year and enjoy this great sport with whatever team they play with.

A 5th and deciding game was needed on Wednesday to determine the Tri-County champions between the Stoney Creek Warriors and the Caledon Hawks. The boys came out on fire throughout the game and responded with determination and teamwork throughout the game.  A great back and forth game and what minor hockey is about.  With less than a minute, we pulled the goalie and poured on the offense and were just short from tying up the game.  Great game and this team is proud of how far they have come and represented Stoney Creek. Way to go Warriors!!!

What an exciting Tri-County finals for the Minor Atom AE championship!!  The Warriors have battled back to tie the series up at 2 games apiece against a tough Caledon team in the championship.  The deciding game will be Wednesday March 18th at 6:30 PM at the Caledon East arena. We know that the Warrior families and friends will be out to support both minor hockey teams of 9 & 10 year old players playing their hearts out.   Go Warriors Go!!!

An exciting game #3 in Caledon saw the Stoney Creek Warriors score halfway through the OT period to get back in the series down 2 games to 1.  The Minor Atom AE team is again asking for loud, cheering fan support at our home game this Sunday as we continue against a tough Caledon Hawks team for the Tri-County championship. Let's get a sea of Black & Yellow in the stands to cheer them on! Go Warriors Go!!
