U15 Team 2 Niagara District Hockey League Champs!
U15 LL Team 2 has been a pleasure to coach from the very start of the season - with two "groups" of boys from different hockey backgrounds, they meshed quickly and only got stronger as the season went on. With an undefeated record in the regular season of
22-0-2, and 6 straight wins to secure a spot in the championship game, we also had two tournament gold medals (Midland New Years Tournament and Stoney Creek Winterfest) and a silver (East Gwillimbury Winter Classic). On Sunday we faced off against the Jordan
Senators, who had been a strong competitor throughout the season. We scored quickly in the first period, but they held us to 2-0 after 1, and despite us scoring again in the 2nd, they made it 3-1 deep in the 2nd period. However, we answered back
almost immediately and from then on it was our game, and we closed out for the gold medal with a 7-1 win. These boys have worked very hard and had an amazing year!
