Tyke Select Bruins - Orillia Tournament Champions!
Tyke Select Bruins successfully Won their 3rd straight Select tournament this season during the March Break Festival tournament up in - Orillia.
The Bruins won: 6-1, 4-3, 3-2, and 2-1 in the final against Elmvale Selects.
The team demonstrated their skills, teamwork & determination to win against some of the toughest teams that they have played all season.
Key note highlights go out to:
Matthew Millar, Matthew Schaefer, and Trent Shaw who all scored in OT shootouts.
Aven Beaulieu's outstanding performance in net
And Xavier Lanc who scored in the final minutes of the championship game for the win!
Everyone on the team played excellent throughout the whole tournament and deserve a big congratulations for playing as a team to win their 3rd Championship in 2014.
Next tournament, the Tyke Select Bruins head to Pickering in April to go head to head with the TOP SELECT TEAMS in the biggest Tyke Tournament in Ontario.
