November 15th vs. Guelph Gryphons (Home)
After a loss in Garden City the boys were eager to make good tonight with a strong effort.

The boys came out hard with help from APs Josh L. (53) playing defence and Ethan B. (13) playing offence.  Thomas B. (75) was strong on offence and both Ryan W (10) and Evan B. (49) were clearing the puck, with Evan getting a shot on the Gryphons’ net.  Defense was working hard but Jack P. (31) had to shine early in net, with a lot of the play in the Warriors’ end. The offence did show some spark with Zach P. (22), Daniel F. (44) and others putting the puck on the Gryphons net. The second started a bit slow but we were able to keep the puck out of the net.  There was some good passing through the neutral zone and we were getting to the net.  Ethan B. (13) was putting in a good showing and Patrick J. (27) took a feed from Jaxon M. (43) to put us up 1-0!  The Gryphons came back strong though and scored 2 quick goals near the end of the second, taking a 2-1 lead into the third. We came out a bit flat in the third and it showed with a Gryphon goal with 13:35 left in the period.  We did get some pressure on the Guelph net but the boys were struggling to keep up.  Daniel F. (44) and Zach P. (22) put a couple shots on net and Patrick J. (270 was battling out front.  We were unable to get the puck past the Gryphon net-minder despite pulling our goalie with just under a minute left.  Shots for the night were 42-18, which reflected the final score of 3-1.  Good luck next game boys!
