Irish South Bend Cup Tournament Champions
Congratulations to the Major Peewee A Team for bringing home the hardware from the Irish South Bend Cup Tournament in South Bend, Indiana!
The boys started off the weekend with a 5-3 win against the Novi Ice Cats AA, followed by a 4-2 win against the Windsor Junior Spitfires AA, and a 6-3 win against the Burlington Eagles Blue A. After a tough 5-3 loss to the Belle River Jr Canadians A/AA, the boys showed huge determination and defeated the same team by a score of 4-3 in the final to win the championship!
Thank you to the coaches and staff for putting together this weekend, complete with our team bus and tour of Notre Dame Stadium. It should be an experience that the boys never forget. Way to go, boys!
