Warriors win the 44th Annual Wayne Gretzky International Hockey Tournament
Submitted By pboonsiri on Monday, December 30, 2013
Warriors finished the tournament with 4-0 win over Hamilton Cyclones in the final to secure their 2nd championship title for this year. All the boys put forth their best effort to play all hard long 7 games in 3 days with undefeated record of 5-0-2. There were 14 Canadian teams, one Finland team, and one USA team, to compete for one single championship title in their division. The semi-final game with Finland Blues was the highlight of this tournament, and the boys managed to win with 4-1 final score in convincing fashion. Players from both teams had a chance to exchange their team pin and to take pictures together at the end of the game. This made long lasting memories for players and the whole family.
