Belleville Tournament
The Belleville tournament was a well played, hard fought tournament with some great bonding experiences on the trip.
The tournament started off on Friday with two well played games and well deserved wins.
The team was playing with speed and intensity and did a good job of controlling the puck and the play.
Friday afternoon included a team BBQ with all parents and kids getting to spend some quality time together.
Saturday started late but started with a very tight game against North Humberland. It was a close game but ultimately a loss. The teams were very evenly matched and it required digging deep to try to come out with the win. Saturday night left the team 1/2 point away from making the semi-finals but playing the undefeated and dominating Kanata Blazers. The Warriors needed to win one period and almost pulled it off in the first, kept digging and got close in the second, and then ran out of gas in the third.
Saturday night was not ruined with disappointment though as the team, parents, and siblings all stayed up late and had fun.
