Season to remember………….
Well, it was undesirable results from OMHA finals. The team
lost to Burlington Eagles 3-0 in the OMHA series. However, don’t let this cloud your judgement
over remarkable achievements for these young warriors as this is their season to
remember. Let looks at the stats, the team end the season with the record of
47-12-10 (the best it has even been), went to OMHA finals, and won 2 big
tournament championships. See all achievements this team accomplished this
year;
- OMHA Finalist
- Ace Bailey Tournament Champions
- Wayne Gretzky International Hockey Tournament Champions
- Motown Cup Hockey Tournament Finalist
- Finish 2nd place in regular season
and other noticeable stats
- Longest undefeated records (25 consecutive undefeated game between Dec 2 – Feb 26, almost 3 months or about half of the season)
- 10 games winning streak
- 221 GF 102 GA , + 119 Diff
- G/G 3.2 GA/G 1.5
- 12 Shut out games
These tell us a lot of things as it show how far these young boys have been developed during the past few years. Now, somebody ask us if we were disappointed of not being crowned as OMHA champions this year, I believe all the boys will proudly say “No” as they are absolutely looking forward to chasing this title again next year.
